About Liz Lord, our Guest Speaker:
Liz has over 25 years of B2C and B2B experience in service marketing having worked at British Airways, Virgin Mobile and PayPal to name a few.
Having worked most recently at PayPal in marketing leadership roles as the International Lead, and then latterly the Australian CMO.
In this role, she became very familiar with the Australian SPAM laws as a large organisation that sent a lot of marketing and non marketing emails.
She set up her team as being the “first line of defence” for SPAM compliance, and introduced ways of proactively approaching SPAM compliance vs waiting for the worse to happen and ACMA to come calling.
